Nothing sadder than a pack of aging hippies trying to relive their past.

Atilla the Fun.....

Or...Nothing sadder than a mindless neocon lapdog toeing the party line. I wonder if Atilla has already purchased his/her one way ticket to Iraq.

Some of these protestors may be aging and hippies, but they are on the right side of this issue.

The following assumes Atilla the Fun sincerely believes the Iraq war is a good thing.

Atilla,

The Iraq war has wrought not a single positive outcome for the American people. We went there based on bad and/or manipulated intelligence without a plan and without an exit strategy.

Iraq was not a threat to America. He was not in league with Osama bin Laden.

So, We have lost more than 2,550 American men and women then, for what? Oh, yes... The "Gift of Democracy" , "stabilizing the region" arguments. More than 14 thousand Iraqi citizens have died in the first half of 2006...on average, more than 100 a day in the month of June. Women are no longer allowed to go to market unescorted. People are now gunned down for wearing shorts. The Iraqis have reinstituted their ministry of virtue and vice. Guess what? That means radical fundamentalism is thriving, not waning, in Iraq. SOME GIFT. SOME STABILITY.

The United Nations just came out with their report on Iraq, Atilla. Do your homework. Then we can talk some more.

P.S. Just where is Osama, anyway?Waiting for the midterm elections?

You can learn plenty from an aging hippy.

Your friend,
